Athletic and prolific Moroccan striker who scored the goals that helped write Morocco's greatest chapter at the 2022 World Cup.
Youssef En-Nesyri was born in Fez, Morocco on 1 June 1997. A powerful, athletic centre-forward with exceptional aerial ability and an instinctive goalscoring touch, En-Nesyri developed through the youth systems of Meknes and Malaga before Sevilla signed him for £20m in 2020. At Sevilla he established himself as one of La Liga's most reliable strikers, scoring consistently season after season. He became a national hero in Morocco during the 2022 World Cup, scoring the header that knocked out Spain in the round of 16 and the winner against Portugal in the quarter-final as Morocco reached an unprecedented semi-final. He joined Fenerbahçe in 2024. For Morocco he has earned over 50 caps and become one of the nation's most important attackers.
