Tamaurice William "Tee" Higgins was born on 18 January 1999 in Oak Ridge, Tennessee, and starred in both football and basketball at Oak Ridge High School before committing to Clemson University. Higgins played three seasons for the Tigers, helping the program win the 2018 College Football Playoff National Championship as a sophomore, and earned first-team All-ACC honours in 2019 before declaring for the NFL Draft. The Cincinnati Bengals selected Higgins in the second round, 33rd overall, of the 2020 NFL Draft, and he tied a Bengals rookie record with 67 receptions in his debut season, developing into a key downfield weapon alongside Ja'Marr Chase in one of the league's most explosive receiving corps. Higgins helped the Bengals reach Super Bowl LVI during the 2021 season, and earned his first Pro Bowl selection in 2025, continuing to be one of Cincinnati's most reliable big-play receivers across a career built on his combination of size and contested-catch ability.
