Micah Aaron Parsons was born on 26 May 1999 in Harrisburg, Pennsylvania, and transferred from Central Dauphin High School to Harrisburg High School, where he starred at both defensive end and running back, graduating early to accelerate his enrolment at Penn State. Parsons became a consensus All-American and Big Ten Linebacker of the Year in 2019, opting out of the 2020 season due to COVID-19 concerns before the Dallas Cowboys selected him 12th overall in the 2021 NFL Draft. Parsons won Defensive Rookie of the Year in 2021 and became one of only two players in NFL history, alongside Reggie White, to record at least 12 sacks in each of his first four seasons, earning multiple first-team All-Pro selections along the way. Parsons requested a trade from Dallas in August 2025 and was subsequently dealt to the Green Bay Packers, signing a four-year, $188 million contract that made him the highest-paid non-quarterback in NFL history, continuing his career as one of the league's most feared pass rushers while also building a media career as president of Warner Bros. Discovery's B/R Gridiron.
