Mark Andrews was born on 6 September 1995 in Scottsdale, Arizona, and attended Desert Mountain High School before playing college football at Oklahoma, where he won the John Mackey Award and Ozzie Newsome Award in 2017 as the nation's top tight end, earning unanimous All-American honours. The Baltimore Ravens selected Andrews in the third round, 86th overall, of the 2018 NFL Draft, and he developed into one of the league's most productive receiving tight ends, forming a potent connection with quarterback Lamar Jackson.
