Trevor Lawrence was born on 6 October 1999 in Knoxville, Tennessee, and starred at Cartersville High School in Georgia before committing to Clemson University, where he became the Tigers' starting quarterback as a true freshman. Lawrence won the 2018 College Football Playoff National Championship in his first season, being named the game's Offensive MVP, and went on to win ACC Player of the Year honours in 2020, leading Clemson to four straight College Football Playoff appearances. The Jacksonville Jaguars selected Lawrence first overall in the 2021 NFL Draft, one of the most highly anticipated quarterback prospects in recent memory, and he earned his first Pro Bowl selection in 2022 after leading the Jaguars to their first playoff appearance in years.
