Mr Le Mans — nine victories at the 24 Hours of Le Mans, the most by any driver in history. The Danish driver's understanding of race management, car preservation and night driving at La Sarthe was unrivalled across a career spanning three decades. Seven of his nine victories came with Audi, making him the defining driver of Audi's era of Le Mans dominance. His Le Mans record is considered as untouchable as Pelé's 1,000 goals or Bradman's batting average.

Tom Kristensen was born in Hobro, Denmark in 1967. He won the 24 Hours of Le Mans nine times — the most in the event's history. His nine victories span from 1997 to 2013 — including six consecutive wins from 2000 to 2005 with Audi. He is nicknamed Mr Le Mans. His understanding of how to pace endurance racing — conserving car and driver across 24 hours while remaining competitive — was considered the finest in the sport's history. He drove for Audi across most of his Le Mans career and also competed in Formula 1 briefly. He is the most celebrated driver in the history of endurance racing.
