Olympic champion and the architect of French rowing's international breakthrough.
Jean-Christophe Rolland was born in Paris, France in 1971. He won Olympic gold in the coxless four at Sydney 2000. He won three World Championship titles in the coxless pair and four. He later became the French national rowing team's head coach — leading France to improved international performances. He is France's most successful elite level rower of his generation.
