One of the greatest goalkeepers in Premier League history, holding the all-time record for clean sheets and a legendary figure at Chelsea.
Petr Čech was born in Plzeň, Czech Republic on 20 May 1982. After impressing at Rennes, he joined Chelsea in 2004 for £7 million and became one of the finest goalkeepers in the world. He holds the Premier League record for most clean sheets (202). A devastating skull fracture against Reading in 2006 forced him to wear protective headgear for the rest of his career. He won four Premier League titles, four FA Cups, three League Cups, the Champions League in 2012 and the Europa League in 2013 with Chelsea. He made 494 appearances before joining Arsenal in 2015, where he won the FA Cup and Community Shield. He earned 124 caps for the Czech Republic. After retiring, he became Chelsea's Performance and Technical Advisor.
