The most accurate three-point shooter in his era — Serbia's greatest basketball export alongside Jokic.
Predrag Stojaković was born in Požarevac, Serbia in 1977. Sacramento Kings selected him 14th overall in the 1996 NBA Draft. His 13-season career produced 16.4 points per game and three All-Star appearances. He was one of the most accurate three-point shooters in basketball history, shooting 40.1% from three across his career with a remarkably pure release and consistent mechanics. He won the Three-Point Contest at All-Star Weekend three times — 2002, 2003 and 2009 — a record. He was the centrepiece of the Sacramento Kings' most competitive era, part of the celebrated team that came within one officiating controversy of beating the Los Angeles Lakers in the 2002 playoffs. He won an NBA championship as a veteran contributor with the Dallas Mavericks in 2011. He represented Yugoslavia and then Serbia at multiple international competitions. His combination of three-point accuracy, movement without the ball and scoring efficiency on a per-minute basis made him one of the most coveted shooters in NBA history. He was inducted into the Basketball Hall of Fame in 2024.
