Patrice Latyr Evra was born in Dakar, Senegal on 15 May 1981 and raised in France. He began his career at Marsala in Italy before moving to Monza, Nice and then Monaco, where he won Ligue 1 in 2000 and reached the Champions League final in 2004. He joined Manchester United in January 2006 and became one of the most consistent and popular defenders in the club's history, making 379 appearances. He won five Premier League titles, three League Cups and the Champions League in 2008. Evra left for Juventus in 2014, winning two Serie A titles, before spells at Marseille and West Ham. He earned 81 caps for France and was part of the squad that reached the 2006 World Cup final.
