The Hulk — the most appearances without a podium in F1 history, then Le Mans overall winner.
Nico Hülkenberg was born in Emmerich, Germany in 1987. He won the GP2 championship in 2009 and made his F1 debut with Williams. He holds the record for most F1 starts without a podium finish — 206 before finally scoring his first podium in 2024 with Haas. He won the 24 Hours of Le Mans in 2015 driving for Porsche as a one-off entry — combining his F1 schedule with endurance racing preparation. His Le Mans performance — entered at short notice after another driver withdrew — is the most celebrated individual substitute performance in endurance racing. He is nicknamed The Hulk for his physical power and car control.
