Kelsey Plum was born in Poway, California on 24 August 1994. Holder of the NCAA all-time scoring record (women's) with 3,527 points at Washington, Plum entered the WNBA as one of the most decorated college players in history. She was selected first overall in the 2017 WNBA Draft by the San Antonio Stars (later the Las Vegas Aces). She endured early struggles before becoming one of the WNBA's most impactful offensive guards. She won the WNBA Championship with the Las Vegas Aces in 2022 and 2023, earning Finals recognition. Her three-point shooting, speed and competitive fire have made her a two-time champion. She also represented USA in the 2020 Olympics, winning gold.
