Kahleah Copper was born in Middletown, New Jersey on 14 April 1996. A powerful, athletic and explosive guard-forward with an intensely competitive nature, Copper has developed from a promising prospect into one of the WNBA's elite scorers. She was selected 10th overall in the 2018 WNBA Draft by the Chicago Sky and became a key figure in their 2021 WNBA Championship, earning Finals MVP honours. She later moved to Phoenix Mercury, where she has continued to excel. She won Olympic gold with USA at the Tokyo Games in 2020.
