Athletic and polished Cleveland Cavaliers center whose rim protection, rebounding and developing offensive game have made him one of the NBA's most consistent young big men.
Jarrett Allen was born in Austin, Texas on 21 April 1998. A 6ft 11in center with exceptional athleticism, elite shot-blocking instincts and smooth post footwork, Allen has been one of the Cleveland Cavaliers' most important players since arriving via trade in 2021. He was selected 22nd overall by the Brooklyn Nets in the 2017 NBA Draft and spent four seasons there before moving to Cleveland alongside Taurean Prince in the James Harden trade. At the Cavaliers he has thrived as a defensive anchor alongside Evan Mobley, forming one of the NBA's best frontcourt defensive pairs.
