Emerging Oklahoma City star whose scoring, versatility and leadership have made him a cornerstone of one of the NBA's most exciting young rosters.
Jalen Williams was born in La Mirada, California on 12 August 2001. A polished and mature offensive guard with excellent size, shot creation and two-way capability, Williams has emerged as one of the NBA's brightest young stars. He was selected 12th overall by the Oklahoma City Thunder in the 2022 NBA Draft and immediately made an impact, forming a thrilling young partnership with Shai Gilgeous-Alexander. His ability to score in a variety of ways — pull-up jumpers, drives to the basket, three-point shooting — combined with his defensive versatility make him a near-complete player at an unusually young age. He averaged over 22 points per game in his second season and made the All-Star team in 2024. He and Gilgeous-Alexander form one of the most exciting young duos in the Western Conference.
