Ivica Zubac was born in Mostar, Bosnia and Herzegovina on 18 March 1997 but holds Croatian nationality. A 7ft, 240lb center with impressive footwork, soft hands and elite rebounding ability, Zubac has established himself as one of the NBA's best starting centers. He was selected 32nd overall by the Los Angeles Lakers in 2016 and developed there before a trade to the Los Angeles Clippers in 2019, where he found a permanent home. At the Clippers he has been consistently excellent, leading the team in rebounding and providing a physical presence at the rim. His efficiency metrics place him among the best finishing centers in the league. For Croatia he has been an important international player and part of their competitive national team program.
