Croatia's finest modern player — an elite three-point shooter across both EuroLeague and the NBA.
Bojan Bogdanović was born in Mostar, Bosnia and Herzegovina in 1989 and grew up in Croatia. He developed through European leagues — Cibona Zagreb and Efes Pilsen — before Brooklyn Nets selected him 31st overall in the 2011 NBA Draft and waited three years. His NBA career has produced 14.8 points per game across nine seasons. He averaged 18.1 points for the Indiana Pacers in 2019-20 — his finest individual season. He is one of the most accurate three-point shooters in NBA history — shooting over 39% across his career. He represents Croatia internationally and is the country's most important basketball export since Dražen Petrović and Toni Kukoč. He underwent wrist surgery in 2020 that affected two seasons before his return to form. His combination of catch-and-shoot ability, pull-up shooting and veteran reliability has made him a valuable piece on multiple contending teams. He is unrelated to Bogdan Bogdanović despite sharing a surname.
