Fábio Henrique Tavares, known as Fabinho, was born in Campinas, Brazil on 23 October 1993. He developed at Real Madrid's reserves before joining Monaco, where he starred in their 2017 Ligue 1 title win. He joined Liverpool in 2018 for £43 million and became one of the best defensive midfielders in world football. His reading of the game, tackling, positional sense and composure in possession were exceptional. He won the Champions League in 2019, the Premier League in 2020, the FA Cup and League Cup. He made 219 appearances for Liverpool. He earned 19 caps for Brazil. He moved to Al-Ittihad in 2023.
