Dame Time — the most clutch shooter of his generation and Portland's greatest ever player.
Damian Lamonte Ollie Lillard was born in Oakland, California in 1990. He attended Weber State University — a mid-major programme — before Portland Trail Blazers selected him sixth overall in the 2012 NBA Draft. He won the Rookie of the Year award in 2013. He was selected to eight All-Star games. His career average of 24.7 points per game places him among the top point guards of all time. His clutch performances — particularly his series-winning four-point play to eliminate Oklahoma City in 2019, dismissing Paul George and Russell Westbrook with a deep three at the buzzer — earned him the nickname Dame Time. He holds the Portland Trail Blazers all-time scoring record. He spent 11 loyal seasons in Portland before requesting a trade and joining the Milwaukee Bucks in 2023. He represented the USA at multiple Olympics, winning gold in 2020. His range — routinely attempting and making shots from 35-40 feet — and his composure in elimination games make him one of the sport's finest clutch performers. Away from basketball he is a hip-hop artist, releasing music under the name Dame D.O.L.L.A.
