Agile and commanding Chilean goalkeeper who captained Chile to Copa América glory and was a Champions League winner with Barcelona.
Claudio Bravo Muñoz was born in Viluco, Chile on 13 April 1983. A highly technical goalkeeper renowned for his composure on the ball and excellent distribution, Bravo began at Universidad de Chile before making his European breakthrough at Real Sociedad. He joined Barcelona in 2014, winning La Liga in his first two seasons and was a key part of the treble-winning side in 2015. He also won the Copa del Rey and Supercopa de España. In 2016 he joined Manchester City for £14.5m, where he struggled initially before finding form. He later moved to Real Betis.
