The fastest to complete the Career Grand Slam — World champion, Olympic champion, World Cup champion.
Zhang Jike was born in Qingdao, Shandong, China in 1988. He won the Olympic gold medal in singles and team at London 2012. He became the fastest player to complete the Career Grand Slam (World Championship, Olympic gold, World Cup) in 2011. He was known for his aggressive, all-out attacking style — significantly different from the controlled approach of Ma Long. He was involved in controversy at the 2016 Olympics when he inadvertently knocked advertising hoardings into the crowd. He has been less successful in the Ma Long era but remains one of the finest players of the decade.
