Rapid German forward whose pace and movement caused havoc, though his finishing was often scrutinised during a challenging spell at Chelsea.
Timo Werner was born in Stuttgart, Germany on 6 March 1996. He rose to prominence at RB Leipzig, scoring 95 goals in 159 appearances and becoming one of the Bundesliga's most feared strikers. He joined Chelsea in 2020 for £47.5 million but struggled to replicate his prolific German form, managing 23 goals in 89 appearances.
