Steve Young was born in Salt Lake City, Utah in 1961. San Francisco 49ers acquired him from Tampa Bay in 1987. Over 13 seasons he posted the highest career passer rating in NFL history (96.8) and was named NFL MVP in 1992 and 1994. He led the league in passing rating six times.
