Phil Neville was born in Bury in 1977 and emerged alongside his brother Gary as part of Manchester United’s famed youth generation. Comfortable across defence and midfield, he won six Premier League titles and the Champions League with United before moving to Everton in 2005. Neville later captained Everton and earned 59 England caps. Following retirement, he transitioned into management, serving as England Women’s head coach and later managing Inter Miami.
