Pedro Eliezer Rodríguez Ledesma was born in Santa Cruz de Tenerife, Spain on 28 July 1987. He came through Barcelona's La Masia academy and became one of the most decorated players in football history. He scored in the 2009 Champions League final and won five La Liga titles, three Champions Leagues, the World Cup in 2010 and Euro 2012. He joined Chelsea in 2015 for £21 million and added energy, goals and experience. He made 206 appearances and scored 43 goals for Chelsea, winning the Premier League in 2017 and the Europa League in 2019. He earned 65 caps for Spain. He later played for Roma and Lazio.
