Mohammad Yousuf, formerly Yousuf Youhana, was a prolific Pakistani middle-order batsman who set the record for most Test runs in a calendar year in 2006, scoring 1,788 runs. A graceful right-hander with an elegant technique and fine timing, he was particularly effective against spin bowling. His conversion to Islam and subsequent record-breaking form made him one of Pakistan's most celebrated cricketers.
