Dallas Cowboys Hall of Fame guard whose superhuman strength and athleticism allowed him to both overpower defensive tackles and pull to lead rushing plays at an elite level.
Larry Allen is widely regarded as the strongest and most physically dominant offensive lineman in NFL history, a Dallas Cowboys guard whose legendary feats of strength — including a 700-pound squat and 700-pound bench press — were as famous as his play. A 12-time Pro Bowl selection and Hall of Famer, Allen was virtually immovable as a run blocker and handled pass protection with equal excellence throughout his career.
