Unique Polish-British power forward who plays point-forward style and has become one of the San Antonio Spurs' most creative and versatile young players.
Jeremy Sochan was born in Guildford, England on 20 May 2003 to a Polish father and American mother. A 6ft 9in power forward with guard skills, Sochan is one of the most positionally unique players in the NBA. His ability to handle the ball, pass and push the pace in transition makes him a genuine point-forward, while his length and athleticism give him a strong defensive profile. He was selected ninth overall by the San Antonio Spurs in the 2022 NBA Draft after one season at Baylor. He has made headlines both for his on-court versatility and for his unusual shooting form, which he has altered multiple times. He represents Poland internationally rather than the USA or England, and has starred in FIBA competition. He is considered a key part of the Wembanyama-era Spurs.
