James Philip Milner was born in Wortley, Leeds on 4 January 1986. He became the youngest scorer in Premier League history at 16 while at Leeds United. After spells at Newcastle and Aston Villa, he joined Manchester City in 2010, winning two Premier League titles. He then joined Liverpool on a free transfer in 2015 and became a key figure, winning the Champions League in 2019 and the Premier League in 2020. His remarkable fitness, versatility and professionalism saw him play in virtually every position. He made over 600 Premier League appearances and earned 61 England caps. He joined Brighton in 2023.
