Unbeaten in 14 career races — the highest-rated racehorse in the history of Timeform ratings.
Frankel was bred by Prince Khalid Abdullah and trained by Sir Henry Cecil. He was unbeaten in 14 career races from 2010 to 2012. His Timeform rating of 147 is the highest ever given to any racehorse. His Queen Anne Stakes at Ascot 2012 — in which he drew 15 lengths clear — is considered the finest individual performance in flat racing history. He retired to stud and became one of the most commercially valuable breeding stallions in the world. He was owned by Prince Khalid Abdullah until the owner's death in 2021. He is named after the trainer Bobby Frankel.
