Fallon Sherrock was born in Milton Keynes, England on 19 August 1994. She qualified for the 2020 PDC World Championship as one of the female invitees and proceeded to defeat Ted Evetts in the first round — the first woman ever to win a match at the PDC World Championship. She then defeated the world-ranked 11th player Mensur Suljovic in the second round, producing one of the sport's most remarkable individual performances. She became a national sporting story overnight, her precision doubles finishing and calm, composed demeanour on one of sport's biggest stages earning universal admiration. She has since competed on the PDC circuit and won multiple PDC Women's Series events.
