The greatest mare of the modern era — three consecutive Arc de Triomphe wins attempted, two achieved.
Enable was trained by John Gosden and ridden primarily by Frankie Dettori. She won the Prix de l'Arc de Triomphe consecutively in 2017 and 2018 — narrowly failing a third consecutive victory in 2020 (finishing second). She was the most popular racehorse in Britain since Frankel, generating enormous public following through her consistent excellence over three seasons. She won 11 of her 15 career races. She retired to stud in 2021. Her Arc campaigns were the most anticipated individual race appearances in European flat racing of the decade.
