Domantas Sabonis was born in Portland, Oregon on 3 May 1996, the son of Lithuanian legend Arvydas Sabonis. Despite his American birthplace, Sabonis represents Lithuania internationally and has built a career defined by elite rebounding, underrated playmaking and consistent scoring. He was selected 11th in the 2016 NBA Draft and developed into an All-Star with Indiana Pacers before a 2021 trade to Sacramento Kings, where he became the franchise player. He won the NBA rebounding title and has consistently ranked among the league's best rebounders and passers at his position. His partnership with De'Aaron Fox formed one of the most dynamic backcourt-to-frontcourt duos in the West. For Lithuania he has starred at EuroBasket and the World Cup, following in the giant footsteps of his Hall of Fame father.
