Tampa Bay Buccaneers Hall of Fame linebacker whose speed, instincts and pass-coverage made him one of the most complete and dominant linebackers in NFL history.
Derrick Brooks was the Tampa Bay Buccaneers' Hall of Fame linebacker, a devastating combination of speed, intelligence, and instinct that made him the best outside linebacker of his era. The 2002 AP Defensive Player of the Year, Brooks was the cornerstone of the Buccaneers' Super Bowl XXXVII championship defence. His 11 Pro Bowl selections and ability to both stop the run and cover receivers make him one of the most complete defenders in NFL history.
