His performance in the 2015 Rugby World Cup Final — man of the match in a 34-17 victory over Australia — is considered the finest individual display in a World Cup final by a backs player. He played club rugby for Racing 92 in France and the Crusaders in Super Rugby. He is universally acknowledged as the finest fly-half in rugby history.
