Ego, acrobatics and goals — the greatest Swedish player and a striker who defied age and physics.

Zlatan Ibrahimović was born in Malmö, Sweden in 1981 to Bosnian and Croatian immigrant parents. He won 33 major trophies with 11 clubs across his career — the most by any outfield player in football history. He played for Ajax, Juventus, Inter Milan, Barcelona, AC Milan, PSG, Manchester United, LA Galaxy, Juventus again and AC Milan again. His acrobatic bicycle kick goal for Sweden against England in 2012 — 30 yards from goal, with his back to the net — is voted one of the three greatest goals in football history. He scored in five different decades. He returned to AC Milan at 38 and helped them win Serie A in 2022. He is the most successful Swedish athlete in any sport.
