Sebastian Fundora is an active American boxer who unified the WBC and WBO super-welterweight titles by defeating Tim Tszyu in 2024.

Sebastian Alexander Fundora was born on 28 December 1997 in West Palm Beach, Florida, to Freddy Fundora, a former Cuban amateur boxer, and Monique Fundora, who is Mexican, giving him a Cuban-Mexican heritage that has made him popular with Latin American fight fans. Standing 6 feet 5.5 inches tall, an extraordinary height for a super welterweight, he earned the nickname "The Towering Inferno" for his combination of size and aggressive fighting style. Fundora's father trained him from a young age, and after an amateur career of more than 50 bouts, he turned professional in 2016, using his massive 80-inch reach to control distance against opponents who struggled to match his physical dimensions. He won the interim WBC light middleweight title in 2022, defeating Erickson Lubin. Fundora suffered his first professional loss to Brian Mendoza in April 2023 in a fight he was winning on the scorecards before being stopped. He rebounded emphatically in March 2024, stepping in on short notice to face Tim Tszyu for the vacant WBC light middleweight title and winning by split decision despite fighting through a severe cut that required extensive stitches. Fundora has continued to defend his title, including a rematch victory over Tszyu, and remains one of the most unusual and physically imposing champions in modern boxing, using his rare combination of height and reach to dominate a division built around much shorter fighters.
