Rory Neil Benjamin Darge was born on 23 February 2000 in Edinburgh, Scotland, and attended North Berwick High School before beginning his professional career in Australia with the Southern Knights. He returned to Scotland to join Edinburgh in 2020, before moving to Glasgow Warriors in 2021, where he developed into one of the most dynamic and hard-working flankers in the Six Nations.
