Randy White was a punishing Dallas Cowboys defensive tackle known as the 'Manster' who helped anchor the team's defense through two Super Bowl appearances.

Randall Lee White was born on 15 January 1953 in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, and attended McKean High School in Wilmington, Delaware, before playing college football at the University of Maryland, where he won the 1974 Outland Trophy and Lombardi Award as the nation's top lineman. The Dallas Cowboys selected White second overall in the 1975 NFL Draft, initially trying him at linebacker before he found his permanent home at defensive tackle in 1977, developing into one of the most feared interior defenders in NFL history. White, nicknamed "the Manster" for a physique teammates joked was half man, half monster, won Super Bowl XII and shared the game's MVP award, and earned nine consecutive Pro Bowl selections and eight first-team All-Pro honours across his 14-season career. White finished with 111 career sacks despite the statistic not being officially tracked for much of his early career, and was inducted into both the Pro Football Hall of Fame and College Football Hall of Fame in 1994, remaining one of the most dominant and versatile defensive tackles the game has ever produced.
