Anthony Nelson Muñoz was born in Ontario, California in 1958. The Cincinnati Bengals selected him third overall in 1980. He is universally acknowledged as the finest offensive tackle in NFL history. He was selected to 11 Pro Bowls. He protected Ken Anderson and Boomer Esiason across two decades. He won two AFC championships. He was inducted into the Hall of Fame in 1998. He has been active in community development work in Cincinnati since retirement.
