Mark Stone is a Canadian right wing known for elite defensive play and clutch scoring, captaining the Vegas Golden Knights to the 2023 Stanley Cup championship.

Mark Stone was born on 13 May 1992 in Winnipeg, Manitoba, Canada, and the Ottawa Senators selected him in the sixth round, 178th overall, of the 2010 NHL Draft, one of the latest selections in his class to develop into a genuine NHL star. Stone developed into one of the league's most well-rounded wingers, combining reliable defensive play with a soft scoring touch, and became renowned throughout the league for his exceptional ability to disrupt passing lanes and generate takeaways. Stone was traded to the Vegas Golden Knights in 2019, and helped lead the franchise to its first Stanley Cup championship in 2023, being named team captain in recognition of his consistent leadership both on and off the ice. Stone has continued to anchor the Golden Knights' top line despite battling significant back injuries throughout his career, representing Canada internationally and remaining one of the most respected two-way forwards in the modern NHL today.
