Brady Tkachuk

Brady Tkachuk is an American power forward who captained the Ottawa Senators before being traded to Florida in 2026, known for his physical, high-energy style.

Braeden "Brady" Tkachuk was born on 16 September 1999 in Scottsdale, Arizona, and the Ottawa Senators selected him fourth overall in the 2018 NHL Draft, joining his older brother Matthew as one of only a small handful of brother pairs ever selected in the top ten of the same draft class, alongside the Hughes brothers of New Jersey and Vancouver. Tkachuk developed into one of the league's most physically imposing and competitive power forwards, combining size, skill, and relentless intensity to become one of Ottawa's most important young leaders on and off the ice. Tkachuk was named captain of the Senators, becoming one of the youngest captains in franchise history, and has continued to represent the United States internationally throughout his career at multiple tournaments.
