Beth Cobden was born on 3 February 1993 in Staffordshire, England, and developed into one of the country's most reliable defensive midcourters, playing wing defence and centre for Loughborough Lightning in the Netball Superleague before her career was interrupted by a ruptured ACL suffered during the 2018 Superleague final. Cobden recovered to sign with the Adelaide Thunderbirds in 2019, bringing her defensive skill set to the Australian domestic league, and became a key member of the England national team, known as the Roses, contributing to the squad's growing success on the international stage.
