Berri Neil

Made her Roses debut in 2023 against New Zealand and was twice named Netball Super League All Star VII GA (2023, 2025).

Berri Neil was born on 12 February 2003 and grew up in Manchester, starting netball at nine after a taster session at school. She joined Oldham Netball Club before working her way through the Manchester Thunder pathway, being named a training partner in Thunder's senior squad in 2020 and making her Netball Super League debut on her 18th birthday in February 2021. Neil moved to London Pulse ahead of the 2022 season, partnering with England shooter Olivia Tchine, and was named the league's Young Player of the Season in 2023 as Pulse reached the Grand Final. She made her senior England debut against the Silver Ferns in the 2023 Taini Jamison Trophy series, and was part of the squads that won the 2024 Taini Jamison Trophy Series and the 2025 Netball Nations Cup, England's first-ever title in that competition. Neil signed with Loughborough Lightning in September 2024, reaching the 2025 Grand Final where Lightning lost to her former club London Pulse, and was named to the league's All Star VII at goal attack for a second time that year. She has spoken openly about finding faith following that defeat, crediting it with helping her approach the game with less stress, and joined Nottingham Forest Netball ahead of the 2026/27 season having earned 11 caps for England.
