Tom Curry

Tom Curry is an aggressive, high-work-rate England flanker who has been a mainstay of the national back row since his teenage debut.

In January 2025, Tom Curry and his twin brother Ben became the first twins ever to start together for England, a milestone capping a rise that had already seen Tom selected for two British and Irish Lions tours. Both signed with Sale Sharks' academy, making Tom one half of one of English rugby's most prominent sibling partnerships. Curry made his senior debut for Sale in 2016 and quickly established himself as one of the most dynamic and physically dominant back-row forwards in the Premiership, renowned for his relentless tackling and breakdown work. He earned his first England cap in 2017, and became a mainstay of the national side's back row through multiple World Cup cycles. Curry played at the 2019 World Cup, where England reached the final, and was selected for the British and Irish Lions in both 2021 and 2025. In January 2025, he and Ben became the first twin brothers ever to play together for England, starting alongside each other against Ireland in the Six Nations. Curry has continued to be one of the most respected and combative flankers in world rugby, renowned for a physically uncompromising style that has occasionally led to injury setbacks, while remaining a first-choice selection for England across multiple international tournaments.
