The greatest quarterback in NFL history — seven Super Bowl championships with two different franchises.
Thomas Edward Patrick Brady Jr. was born in San Mateo, California in 1977. Selected 199th overall in the 2000 NFL Draft, he became the most decorated quarterback in NFL history. He won seven Super Bowl championships: six with the New England Patriots and one with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers in 2021 — the only player to win the Super Bowl with two different franchises. He was named Super Bowl MVP five times. He holds NFL records for career passing yards (89,214), touchdowns (649) and completions. He was the NFL MVP three times. He engineered the greatest Super Bowl comeback ever — overcoming 28-3 against Atlanta in Super Bowl LI. His partnership with coach Bill Belichick at New England produced six titles in 20 seasons — the most successful dynasty in NFL history. He retired in February 2023.
