He won the Masters in 2022 — winning four tournaments in five weeks to become the most rapidly dominant golfer in the tour's recent history and reach world number one. He retained world number one for a record-breaking stretch and won back-to-back Masters in 2022 and 2024. He won the Players Championship in 2023 — often called the fifth major.
