Ozzie Newsome is one of the greatest tight ends in NFL history and a Pro Football Hall of Famer who spent 13 seasons with the Cleveland Browns, revolutionising the tight end position as a receiver. After retirement he became one of the NFL's most celebrated executives, building the Baltimore Ravens into a perennial contender and overseeing two Super Bowl championships as their General Manager. Newsome was the first Black general manager in NFL history to win a Super Bowl, doing so with the Ravens following the 2000 and 2012 seasons, and his drafting record — including selecting Ray Lewis, Jonathan Ogden and Ed Reed — is widely regarded as among the finest in league history. He stepped back from the GM role in 2019 to become the Ravens' executive vice president.
