Juju Noda was born on 2 February 2006 in Tokyo, Japan, the daughter of former racing driver Hideki Noda, and began testing single-seater race cars on Japanese circuits from the remarkable age of nine, later featuring in a Great Big Story micro-documentary in 2018 that introduced her to an international audience. Noda made her official competition debut in the 2019 Lucas Oil Winter Race Series, before progressing through Formula 4 categories in Denmark and the United States with her family's own team, Noda Racing, winning her first race in the Danish championship. She went on to compete in the W Series and Euroformula Open. Noda made history in 2024 by becoming the first Japanese woman ever to race in Japan's premier open-wheel category, Super Formula, driving for TGM Grand Prix, though she faced a steep learning curve against more experienced rivals, never qualifying higher than 19th across the season. Noda moved to Triple Tree Racing, a new team established by her father, for the 2025 season, continuing to develop as one of the most closely watched young female talents in Japanese motorsport, with hopes of eventually progressing toward Formula One.
