Dominant Baltimore Ravens left tackle who helped anchor the offensive line for the franchise's first Super Bowl title.

Jonathan Phillip Ogden was born on 31 July 1974 in Washington, D.C., and attended St. Albans School, excelling as a high school All-American in both football and track and field, where he competed as a legitimate Olympic-level shot-putter before choosing UCLA over Florida specifically because it allowed him to pursue both sports. Ogden became a four-year starter at left tackle for the UCLA Bruins, earning unanimous All-American honours and the Outland Trophy in 1995, before the Baltimore Ravens made him the franchise's first-ever draft selection, taking him fourth overall in the 1996 NFL Draft. Ogden anchored Baltimore's offensive line for his entire 12-season career, earning 11 Pro Bowl selections and six first-team All-Pro honours, and helped pave the way for running back Jamal Lewis's then-record 2,066 rushing yards in 2003 while protecting the Ravens' Super Bowl XXXV-winning team in 2001. Ogden was inducted into the Pro Football Hall of Fame in 2013, becoming the first player to spend his entire career with the Ravens to receive the honour, and was named to the NFL's 100th Anniversary All-Time Team, remembered as one of the most dominant left tackles in the sport's history.
